Merchandise approved for return must be returned no later than 5 days after the merchandise is delivered or picked up in order to receive a refund without a re-stocking fee.
If the merchandise was delivered by Hurwitz Mintz it must be scheduled within that 5 day period. If the merchanside was picked up by the customer it must be returned to our warehouse within the 5 day period.
The return of the merchandise must be approved by the customer service department or the manager on duty.
No returns will be accepted on special order merchandise.
Refunds will be returned in the form in which the original deposit was paid (bank card, check, etc.) Cash deposits will be refunded by check. For financed orders, a credit will be sent to the finance company. Refunds may take up to 10 days.

Merchandise returned due to defect or damage must be approved by the customer service department.
Rugs have a 72 hour approval period and must be inspected by the store manager for full refund. Any rugs approved for return after 72 hours will result in a 25% re-stocking fee. The balance after the re-stocking fee will be a store credit only.
If a sale is cancelled no later than 7 days (either if in stock at the time of purchase or when it is received in our warehouse and reserved on your sale) a full refund will be given.
If a sale is cancelled after 7 days (either if in stock at the time of purchase or when it is received in our warehouse and reserved on your sale) there will be a 25% re-stocking fee. The balance after the re-stocking fee will be a store credit only.
Special orders cannot be cancelled or changed. If the customer cancels or defaults on a special order the deposit will not be refunded.
If a customer re-selects merchandise due to their decision or a mistake on their part, a new delivery fee will be charged.
Should your order be a Special Order, or your order is to be held in our Warehouse for delivery instructions, same is not subject to change or cancellation, nor is the deposit refundable, and shall be forfeited in the event customer defaults on the order. Regular line-up merchandise not in stock at the time of sale shall be considered special order merchandise.
We cannot be held responsible for any delay in shipment due to union disputes, factory production problems, or any other valid reasons beyond our control. Any goods that are accepted by us for return are subject to a re-stocking charge of 25%, but only if the merchandise is returned in the same condition as at the time of purchase. Fabric treatment charges and delivery charges are non-refundable. Deliveries not made due to customers's default will be subject to a re-delivery charge equal to the amount of the original merchandise delivery charge.
Merchandise may be held in our warehouse for 30 days with a 1/3 deposit, and must be paid in full at the end of the 30 day period. Merchandise may then be held an additional 60 days. Merchandise held over 90 days will be subject to a storage charge of 5% per month of sale price, which shall be due and payable upon delivery.
Merchandise is not intended to be sold for commercial use unless specifically stated on sales order, and in such event, any manufacturer's warranty will not apply. Purchases of described merchandise at the price stated and receipt of copy of original invoice are hereby acknowledged at time of sale.
Hurwitz Mintz shall not be bound by any oral representations or agreements made by its employees. If your purchase is a finance purchase, customer acknowledges that it is pursuant and subject to terms and conditions of the buyers Finance Agreement with Seller and/or third party creditor.
If your sale is to an out of state resident and Hurwitz Mintz has not collected applicable sales and use tax, the purchaser hereby agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Hurwitz Mintz from any and all liability resulting from non-payment of this tax.
